I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded.
As many of you know, our Natalie was first diagnosed with brain cancer (Anaplastic Ependymoma III) when she was 22 months old. Her cancer recurred when she was 4 years old. Currently Natalie has no evidence disease, and we are beyond grateful for this, but we know how quickly things can change. Her chances of a second recurrence and a terminal diagnosis are 50/50....except with the progress being made and can be made through crucial, life-changing and life-saving research efforts. Apart from our hope and faith in the Lord, research is our greatest hope for more and better treatment options; and for a cure for Natalie, for Daisy and for countless others.
Daisy and Natalie have been friends for several years. The Walsh and Osborn families have been walking alongside each other in support and prayer for several years. It seems the natural next step to join the incredible efforts of the Hope for Daisy team at this time to help raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer and SBF.
If you can help us reach our fundraising goals, we would be forever grateful! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Thank you!!
