I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This is my 6th year of shaving my head for St. Baldrick's. Y'all know me--I prefer dyeing my hair, letting my freak flag snap in the breeze just a little bit. I hate the bald look on me. I mean, I *really* hate it.

I don't imagine the kids going through treatment like it any more than I do. So I'll do this; while I don't have any kids close to me going through this, it still boils down to what a wicked little beeyotch cancer is, and it feels especially awful that any kid should go through this.

Kids' cancers are also a whole other animal. They're different than adult cancers, and childhood cancer research is horribly underfunded.

I can't do much, but I can do this. And every dollar you donate will make a difference for the thousands of infants and kids fighting for their lives.

Yeah. INFANTS. Babies go through this. Help me make a dent in it all.

I'll go through the embarrassment of being a fat bald woman for a few weeks if you'll donate a few bucks. It really is the least we can do, other than nothing, and nothing is not an option.
