I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Belles of the Bald

Three years later and I am back as a St. Baldrick’s Shavee! I am participating as a member of the Belles of the Bald, an extension of Team Sammie and named in honor of Sammie’s all-time favorite princess, Belle!

As promised to Sammie, we are continuing to do good in this world, big or small, and we are doing it with her in mind. Sammie had dreams of becoming a doctor, baker or ballet dancer. Her overabundance of joy, love, kindness, generosity and zest for life was unlike any other. Even at the young age of four, Sammie knew and valued the most important thing in this world, love. Sammie taught us that love has the ability to move mountains. Love can bring communities together. Love can push us through our toughest battles. And most importantly, Sammie taught us that LOVE is Strength.

You can show your support for Sammie, and all other kids who are and will battle childhood cancer, by donating to this cause. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancer. Help us make those dreams of becoming a doctor, baker or ballet dancer become a reality.

Together we are fighting, and we are winning because we love.

LOVE is Strength.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
