I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

I am very fortunate to have a happy and healthy 3.5 year old son.  He is my greatest joy in life and I couldn't imagine a world without him.  Not every parent is so lucky though, and I would feel so helpless if there was nothing I could do to make him better.  So instead of doing nothing and hoping for the best I decided to do a little something, and I hope you will join me to do a little something as well.

To be honest, I love having long, beautiful locks and do not want to shave my feathers.  But since I am doing this, please help make it worthwhile by donating.   Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Everyone who donates will receive either a hug or a crisp high-five from yours truly, along with the warm fuzzies that come with doing a little something to help where help is needed.
