I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Savage 'Cuts' Consulting

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Savage 'Cuts' Consulting

Year 5 - Where has the time gone ? - for 400,000 children worldwide, sadly time has come to a standstill and they have departed us to rest in peace - for 1.3 million children they and their families have been devastated to receive the dreaded diagnosis 'You have Cancer'.   I'm shaving my head, running 3 half marathons, climbing mountains, jumping in lakes and all manners of activities to raise money for childhood cancer research!

This year I will be joined by Islay, our darling now 10 year old. who has decided to join me in braving the shave. In her words  ‘Kids with cancer have no choice when it comes to hair because if they keep it they will die’ so it is better to shave voluntarily and help save those kids who have no choice’ . Quite an emotional year for me as she has been one of my inspirations to support the amazing St. Baldrick's efforts over the last 5 years.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
