UPDATE 4/23/2018 -
To all Donators to the Brave the Shave Fundraiser -
Thank you so much for your generous donation and support!! I got my gray locks shaved completely off last Thursday.
Your generous gift helped me beat my personal goal of $2018 and eventually raise over $2700 to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation (finishing in in the top four out of over 30 SAP Team participants). The SAP Team combined raised nearly $44,000 (first place out of 11 teams).
To learn more about the impact you’ve made, I encourage you to check out the St. Baldrick’s website at StBaldricks.org. On their website, you can learn more about the groundbreaking research made possible by your generous donation and read stories about brave kids benefitting from this lifesaving research.

Thank you for helping us get one step closer to giving kids like Maya their best chance at happy and healthy childhoods.
Sincerely,

St. Baldrick’s Foundation Shavee 2016, 2018
Original fundraiser request -----
This is my second go around with Brave the Shave St. Baldrick's fundraiser. (The picture above is me after getting shaved in 2016. )
I'll be a shavee again in 2018! Honestly, I am not looking forward to the cold draft on my newly bald head, but in solidarity with all those who have battled or are battling cancer I am doing this again to raise money to find a cure and do something visible to raise awareness. It's really a small sacrifice for a big cause. Besides, I get a free haircut that should last a while!
In Memory of my late aunt Agnes Speirs Anderson Johnson, late friend Nancy Richardson, late friend Wes Mills and late family friend Ryan Kerr and in solidarity with Case for Smiles.
In Honor of survivor friends Marc "Marcus" Hughes, Mark 'Townie" Townsell and Darcy "D. Swizzle" Swinnerton.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Thank you!
Fight!
Scott
