I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
If you've known me any length of time, you have probably heard me say it: research for pediatric cancers are severely underfunded. All peds cancers together get about 4% of federal funding and given how common pediatric cancer is this is a strange state of affairs.
How common is it? On average: 46 kids a DAY are diagnosed in the US with some form of pediatric cancer. The US loses an average of seven kids every day to pediatric cancer.
I'm headed to Washington DC in April 2018 with 46 Mommas, a group of moms who use their stories of what it's like to navigate pediatric cancer as a parent to advocate for passage and funding of the Survivorship Research Access and Treatment (STAR) Act. I would love a donation in support of that trip. I'm grateful for any help in any amount.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
