I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sammy's

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sammy's

In the 1950's, almost all kids diagnosed with cancer died. Because of research, today about 90% of kids with the most common type of cancer will live. But for many other types, progress has been limited, and for some kids there is still little hope for a cure. Even during treatment, kids face all kinds of side effects, some very uncomfortable, others life-threatening. A lot of the current research surrounding childhood cancer is focused on preventing the lifelong damage that can result from surgeries, radiation and chemotherapies given while young bodies and brains are just developing. That’s why St. Baldrick’s funds research to improve supportive care for patients.

If you would like to support me and my desire to help find more cures and fund more patients please consider donating through my page.
