I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NCH-OSU Cell Therapy Team

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that there are over 400,000 childhood cancer survivors in the US? Even though that makes it sound like we've made tremendous progress in curing cancer, it is still the top cause of non-accidental death in children.

More cures can't happen without more research, but childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Fortunately, St. Baldrick's Foundation is out to change that. They are the top source of funding for pediatric cancer research in the country, second only to the federal government itself.

I am a fortunate recipient of that funding, and it has made an amazing difference in my research. Because of funding from SBF, we went from initial discovery to first-in-human clinical trials to pediatric clinical trials in only a few years.

Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of kids fighting cancer. Help be a part of making a difference!
