Cancer, it has infiltrated my life. Currently I struggle watching my brother-in-law battle his recently diagnosed pancreatic cancer and my sister-in-law battle bone cancer. I lost my mother to lung cancer when I was 23. There’s not anything to say but – cancer sucks. I am encouraged that battles can be won, as my wife Lana is living proof of this, having survived smoldering myeloma for 12 years. I have been involved with Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance for many years including holding a board seat. Watching Keaton families struggle with the diagnosis, plan the treatment, and endure the journey with their children has always tugged me to join the St. Baldrick’s movement. I have decided to do something about it this year by raising money for the cure. I am lucky and blessed to work for Westfield, a longtime supporter of both St. Baldrick’s and Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance. Now, I need your help! I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research, which is extremely underfunded. Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
