I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Bulldogs

I'm shaving my head to raise money for chilhood cancer research! This is my 3rd year as a shavee for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation event in Romeo, MI. I am so inspired by these kids’ stories and equally inspired by the amazing young students that make up the majority of the Bald Bulldogs team. My high school classmate Brad Wenz has been leading this amazing group of students for several years as they help out their peers. They are brave enough to step up in this age where social media bullying, ridicule and peer pressure can be so overwhelming! After years of donating I decided to step up and become a shavee myself a few years ago. Every year has been such an amazing, positive experience! I am so thankful for the healthy children in my life and have watched as family members and friend’s kids have had to battle cancer at a very young age. Some are ok now and unfortunately some have passed away. If I can do ANYTHING to prevent the pain and heartache these kids and their families feel, it is all worth the sacrifice of a little bit of hair. Please, if you are able to donate, consider supporting me and my team! And come on down in person...it’s a heck of a block party with events and activities for the whole family! Thank you, bless you, and please share!
