I’ve wanted to be a part of this fundraiser for awhile and this year I’m so glad to be able to! Last year my nieces both in California & Florida knew and lost classmates & friends due to childhood cancer, and know a few this year still fighting. Maybe this is why It strongly tugs at my heart, or maybe because I’m a parent now, or that I just never truly realized how many kids are diagnosed with cancer and fighting battles that they shouldn’t be. St. Baldricks foundation funds the most promising cancer research just for kids. It is the top private funder of childhood cancer research in the U.S. and around the world. These kids deserve their childhood, and they deserve us to do anything and everything we can to help them live through it. Don’t just scroll through when you see a story of a child fighting, read it, feel it, imagine it and help change it. One person CAN make an impact, one dollar CAN & WILL make a difference! I’m doing this in honor of Makayla Sierra, Carter Ankeny, and Ryan Camparano and all the children out there who just want and deserve their childhood back!
