I’ve just been through a year of intense chemo to cure leukemia. During this time I’ve lost friends to cancer. One of my favorite friends was Hunter. I spent so much time in the hospital with him. I lost my friend while we were both inpatient at CHKD. Im tired of losing friends and in case you didn’t know.. Chemo isn’t a walk in the park either. Mom and Dad thought I would never get a hair cut again. Even though I have chemo until May of 2020 and my hair is growing back on the outside I look like a normal kid livIng a normal life. I’d trade my hair in to get my friends back or even to be done with my treatment. I found out I could at least trade my hair in to help find a cure or better treatments in the future. So, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
