I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TransRe "Team Adam"

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TransRe "Team Adam"

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Eddie Owens. I have numerous reasons to shave my head for cancer. For starters, my eldest son, Daniel, is a survivor of leukemia. He battled cancer from ages 4-8 with great bravery. He is alive and well today (and not to mention - one of the most intelligent people I know). In addition, my father and my grandmother both battled and eventually died of cancer. Today, my wonderful, brave and beautiful sister, Dawn, is fighting the disease. But, I'm not only shaving in memory and honor of all of my family (in which I do love so much), but also in hopes of preventing this evil beast of a disease from impacting more innocent lives. I am honored to shave my head in honor and memory and in solidarity with the kids and others who have come face to face with this demon. A demon that I think is able to be defeated with efforts and causes such as these! Please consider this cause and/or give a prayer/thought to all of those who are suffering from this terrible disease!
