I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: President's Close Shave Team

As the President of the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, I’m thrilled to participate in this 11th annual Brave the Shave event. To date, the event has raised over $2 million to support research in childhood and adolescent cancer. I hope you’ll consider making a donation to my team—and help us provide healing and hope for kids all across the Bay Area!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
