I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Testing. Testing. 1,2,3. Ok this thing is on.......

So I'm Jill, I am a Pediatric Hematology Oncology nurse, who is very willingly going to be shaving my head to raise not only awareness, but money for favorite charity. My journey started Oct of 2002, when my favorite person ( my cousin...more like brother) was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (you can click on the link to find out more). So since then I have been extremely passionate about childhood cancer, it is my life's work. I have met incredible families, patients, survivors, and even angels over the course of my career. I also have worked and currently work with the best group of nurses you will ever meet, we work hard for our cause and we try to bring joy and laughter to all our families. I could go on and on about all of this but I put some pictures so you can see the absolute joy that we bring when we come to work. I hope you contribute to our cause because our children are more precious than gold.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
