I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Three and a half years ago, I cut 12 “ of my hair (for Locks of Love) and I have been growing my hair back since. It was the second time I did Locks of Love, the first was in 2010. Six months ago I had the thought of shaving my head and have stuck with it. Now, I’m more determined than ever to shave my head and help to raise funds for childhood cancer research.

My mom and I talked a lot about me doing this. She asked me what am I going to do, since I’m in the eighth grade and kids can be quite mean, if the kids would make fun of me. I told her that I just push past those types of negative things and focus on the positive ones.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
