I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fiscus

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fiscus

On Saturday March 10, I will be shaving my head for the 12th time  in solidarity with kids who typically lose their hair during treatment.

With a child being diagnosed every two minutes, far too many parents and families are going through the nightmare of childhood cancer.

Childhood cancer research is still drastically underfunded, less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute's budget is solely dedicated to childhood cancer research. We should be doing everything we can to give these families hope. Your investment supports the St. Baldrick s Foundation, the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants. Since 2005, the Foundation has granted more than $200 million to find cures for kids with cancer.

Over the last 11 years, the event I organize in the Village of Romeo has raised more than $2,452,547 toward those research grants. This is all thanks to the generosity of donors like you!

This is why I'm asking for your help once again.

Kids like Evan Webster, Noah Costa, Emily Phillips, Pietro Pellerito and Adam Nyquist are here today because of new treatments that you helped fund. We can create more outcomes like them, we have to. You don't need to shave your head with me, just make a donation, today.

Thank you for being a hero to kids with cancer
