I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Can you imagine, having to tell your child that they're sick? Like, really ::really:: sick? Because I can't. The thought alone breaks my heart into an infinite number of pieces. But this is the reality for the parents of nearly 50 children A DAY in the United States who are diagnosed with cancer. So, I might not have much hair to spare but come September, I'm shaving it off to raise awareness for childhood cancer research. I'm not going to cut an inch until then either. All participants will be gathering at Fado in Austin and having their heads shaved on the spot! It's sure to be a sight to see :)
This foundation is the world’s leading private funder of childhood cancer research grants. More than $200 million granted across 27 countries since 2005. If you have 5 bucks to spare, donate :) or become a shavee yourself. Thanks for reading friends
