I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
I am just a Grandpa who will do anything to help fund research for our cancer warriors so they have a better chance of living happy , healthy lives. My grand daughter, Amelia, was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumor in June 2016 and had her kidney removed. She received treatment for 6 months and is now in remission and for that I am eternally grateful for the excellent care she received from Sutter Hospital in Sacramento. However, too many other children have not had that happen to them. We need a cure now! St Baldrick's is the leading foundation to fund childhood cancer research outside of the government which is only 4% at this time!
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Thank you for helping me with a donation.
