I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This past year, some topics that have been pressing in my heart are that of injustice and privilege, all of which are present in this world. After months of contemplation(and prayer), I've decided to brave the shave. Cancer does not discriminate. Many do not have the privilege to have a choice, but I have chosen to stand alongside men, women, and children with cancer. Partner with me, and together we can help fund research for a cure!

A close friend's mom is currently fighting cancer. Seeing my friend affected emotionally, mentally, and financially is a testimony to how great of an impact cancer can have on an individual and others around him/her. I may JUST be the friend of a child of a cancer patient... but I AM the friend of a daughter of a cancer patient. Cancer doesn't discriminate. It spreads...literally and figuratively.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
