I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: MSU

This will be my 10th year participating in St. Baldrick's. I have to owe it to my man Cooper Damm this year for taking the initiative, finding an event, and encouraging me to jump in with him! We've set a rather lofty team fundraising goal, so we'll see what happens! I'll be shaving this year, as every year, in memory of my younger brother - the late Thomas "Hawk" Maier. It's my hope that as a result of these efforts kids can face more favorable odds in the fight. Cancer in children is much different than that in adults. As a result of this, treatment research is underfunded. We'd like to help change that. You pledge, I shave. It's that simple. Don't worry if you can't afford to support! I know full well that the majority of my friends are less than gainfully employed. We would love for you to join us at the event in Romeo on March 11 however. It's supposed to be an impressive event!
