I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Catholic Rugby Crew

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Catholic Rugby Crew

A few members of The Catholic Rugby Crew at Quinnipiac University are participating in St. Baldrick's simply to support a great cause. Our participation is meant to spread awareness of childhood cancer, and all donations are welcome and can make a difference for infants, children, teens, and young adults!

I'm shaving my head to raise money, and raise awareness of the need for childhood cancer research. Childhood cancer's are in fact different from cancer in adults! Therefore, the efforts to study cancer in children is separate from that of adults, and childhood cancer research is widely underfunded.

Cheers,

Ben Mahon

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
