Hello! It's me, Callaway! It's almost March, which means it's time for me to shave my head for the FOURTH time in support of the St. Baldrick's Foundation. I shaved in 2014, 2015, and 2017 and and took 2018 off to grow my hair super long so hopefully I can raise enough money to meet or exceed my lofty goal of $7,000 for childhood cancer research! I cannot wait to participate again this year!
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? Or that every 2 minutes another kid is diagnosed with cancer? It's true and...childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Together, you and I can change that. I'm going to shave my head at a St. Baldrick's Foundation event on March 18th at the Rocky River Brewing Co. My bald head will be a sign that I stand up for the brave kids being treated for cancer. But the real point of all this is to raise money for research that will help save their lives. Please make a donation on my head and come watch me Conquer Childhood Cancers! I'm shaving my head in honor of a family friend, Cordelia. Cordelia's dad works with my mom. Cordelia is in remission after fighting her long battle with neuroblastoma!
Now I need your help. Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Please make a donation at https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/898891/2017 or search for my name as a shavee on the St. Baldrick's website www.stbaldricks.org. You may give online, by phone (888-899-BALD), or write a check payable to "St. Baldrick's Foundation." I'll be collecting cash, too!
I have made this my mission, and I hope you'll make it your mission, too: Conquer Childhood Cancers!
Thank you in advance for your support!
Love you, Callaway
