I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Denny

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Denny

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research in honor of my nephew, Denny Schoonmaker. He was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a cancer in his liver, in 2012 at just 2 years old. Denny fought hard through numerous surgeries, rounds of chemo, a liver transplant and many other treatments for 3 years. Sadly, Denny passed away from this cancer on April 12, 2015 at just 5 years old.

Since his diagnosis in 2012, many of Denny's family and friends have participated in St. Baldrick's each year to help raise awareness and funding for research to help conquer childhood cancers. To date, Team Denny has raised over $80,000 for the St. Baldrick's foundation in hopes of saving other children just like him.

Please join us in this fight, either by helping bring awareness or by donating to fund research. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Forever #TeamDenny.
