I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Balding Droogs

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Balding Droogs

Last January I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and began chemotherapy treatments a few weeks later. I was fortunate to have amazing family, friends and coworkers to help me get through it. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor and medical staff to take care of me. Six months after diagnosis I finished treatment and received a clean bill of health after my follow-up scans.

I was lucky that Hodgkin’s has a well-established treatment plan with an extremely high success rate. The same does not apply to pediatric cancers. The treatments used for adults have vastly different effects on children and their growing bodies. That’s why research for pediatric cancer is so important. And I can't begin to imagine how tough it is for a child to go through all that fighting cancer entails. That’s why I will be raising money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation again this year.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every donation, large or small, makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
