I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team DC Brau

Hey Friends!

Four years ago I attended my first St. Baldricks event with a friend. We both went into it not planning on shaving our heads. I can remember hanging out, drinking some beers, and donating money to different shavees all to raise money for childhood cancer research. A little more than half-way through the event, my friend and I were approached by the day's emcee. She wanted us to shave our heads! Apparently, some of the staff had been eyeing us in the corner (needless to say we knew some of them...) and they REALLY wanted us to shave our heads. Fifteen minutes later, we had $500 raised and we were up on stage shaving.

Fast-forward to now, and I'm ready to unload these dirty-blonde locks again. I've had (maybe) one small haircut since that March day, four years ago; it was all in preparation for this year. I want to raise AS MUCH money as I can for the St. Baldrick's Foundation and childhood cancer research. This is where you come in. I need your help!

Can I count on your donation to help fund childhood cancer research? It's an incredibly under-funded facet of cancer research, and we need your help. Dig deep if you can, but any amount is greatly appreciated.

please & thank you -

 Christopher
