I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Jacob

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Jacob

Last year on March 5th, my friend Sophia Roth participated as a shavee for the St. Baldricks Foundation in memory of a little boy Jacob, who lost his life to cancer. She has inspired to do the same thing! So, on March 4th 2017, I will be shaving my head as well.

The St. Baldricks foundation raises money for cancer research. However the purpose of being a shavee is also to stand in solidarity with people that lose their hair to cancer.

Unfortunately many people, especially girls, lose confidence or don't feel beautiful without hair. This is an issue that I'm very passionate about.  I believe that everyone should feel beautiful despite the length of your hair. Beauty is about more than just hair.

To quote Sophia "hair grows back, lives don't". Thanks for taking the time to read this and remember that every dollar helps in order to help end childhood cancer!
