I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: IBSC

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: IBSC

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!  Did you know my sister, Ashley, was diagnosed with leukemia when she was in 5th grade?  She really struggled to get better and eventually had a bone marrow transplant that saved her life.  She got her new cells from a wonderful donor, Tom!  She wouldn't be here without Tom's generosity of donating to my sister-- he didn't even know her.  He just knew an 11 year old girl had cancer and needed his cells.

Ashley still struggles with the side effects of all the chemo and radiation she received to kill her cancer.  Her kidneys were badly damaged and her doctor said that she will eventually need a kidney transplant.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.  WE MUST FIND SAFE MEDICINES TO KILL CHILDHOOD CANCER!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
