I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

You are reading this right! I am shaving my head in honor of a brave little girl and her family that faced cancer with courage, strength, faith and love. Aracely "Cely" Gonzalez was only 9 years old but was such an inspiration to many with her infectious smile and the ornery glint in her eye. She bravely fought a disease that simply started out as a headache.  Sadly after a very long hard fought battle, Cely left her earthly home and gained her wings.

So I need your help! Will you make a donation to not only help a child but also their family, those loved ones who stand and fight along side them? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. A donation to you may mean one less Starbucks for the week, but to a family it means a lifetime of memories that they can have by finding a cure.
