I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lukestrong

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lukestrong

I have twins, as do many of my friends... ALOT of my friends... back in 2014, they started Team: Lukestrong because Leia's brother Luke was diagnosed with an aggressive and usually fatal form of childhood cancer. In keeping with that tradition of giving back, I've joined the Lukestrong team this year to raise $$ to aid in fighting childhood cancer. If I make my goal of $1000, My head will be shaved in a grand ceremony, if I go over by another $500 - off goes the beard as well... FULL CUEBALL. The day of the Haircutting - I will be FaceBook Live so that each of you can enjoy what your dollars have wrought upon me. I expect my wife to take great glee at this, and there should be plenty of colorful commentary from friends. * * * Some Ugly Information: Kids' cancers are much different from adult cancers; so they don't respond to same therapy. * * * Also: Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. * * * Our team has decided to do something about it by raising money for cures; please help, if you would. * * * Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I used to raise money for LLS by running in Marathons/Half-marathons but with twins, no time exists to train properly and no money exists for such discretionary travel activities. I can grow hair, and I've donated to Locks of Love before... but...
.
this time, I'm using the hair for the children helped by St. Baldrick's.
Along with Team: LukeStrong - making a difference, one snip at a time.
