I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Losing your hair can be a devastating process, especially for a child. Some of these children are too young to understand why they look different from their friends, and may even be bullied at school for their lack of hair. Some of these children may even feel less beautiful when they look at themselves in a mirror. Since when did hair define beauty? I'm here to not only raise money for cancer research, but to break the stigma that hair is involved in what is defined as beautiful. No one should ever feel alone in their battle, but sometimes it can be hard to not feel alone when you are the only one bearing the signs of cancer. Therefore, I want to shave my head to help raise awareness and help someone feel a little less alone in their battle. You are beautiful, and therefore, your bald head is beautiful too :)

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
