I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Melting Pot for Cancer

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Melting Pot for Cancer

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting cancer.

I have a passion for lifting others up and making them smile, (even if its the smallest one you can muster). I truly love what I do and feel inspired every day by these courageous families I am honored to work with.

About a year ago at work a little one asked me if I would shave my head for Cancer awareness. I could hardly respond because of my own vanity (I suppose). I said I would consider it. But recently cancer has snuck into my personal world and taken over my thoughts with a different intent and plan.

A year later I have witnessed, walked with and experienced a new level of understanding and before my sisters diagnosis I had decided, YES!!!! Let's shave!!! And with the full support of my own children and husband in January I signed up to walk the talk and shave for not only awareness of pediatric cancer but to support those I serve.

On March 12, 2017 I shave for so much more than I ever expected. I shave out of hope. Encouragement. Support and to build awareness while encouraging others to dare to dream of a cure.

Thank you for your support.
