I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: WCTA Breaking Bald

Hello, everyone! This is my second year saving, so I have doubled my goal to $2,000!  After the first shave I swore I would never shave again. The first time was simply too difficult. But then my cousin, Dean was diagnosed with cancer in his brain. He was six. He was unable to make it through, the entire family was ravaged at the loss of such an amazing, intelligent, and gentle little man. Now, I realize that being healthy, being able to choose between courage and fear, or having hair is a privilege. Shaving my head was the hardest thing I have ever done, and it will be even harder to do this year, but it will never outweigh the tragedy and darkness of the loss of a child. With that being said, to calm my nerves and to make it more interesting for all of you, I will be completing challenges each time we reach a certain monetary value! At $20, I will post a no-makeup, no-filter selfie (baby steps, everyone). At $50, I will Running Man all the way across a street at a major intersection. At $100, I will live-stream a two to three minute videos of my best Bernie Sanders impression. The topic will be whatever anyone comments. At $500, I will serenade five strangers in public. I will have a friend with me to choose who I sing to and what song. I have to do it, no matter what.At $1,000, I'll post a video of me singing a song (chosen by the first person to comment on my status saying that we've reached that goal). I'll also post a video of me dancing any style of dance (again, chosen by the first person to comment on my status saying that we've reached that goal). At $1,500, I'll bleach my hair!At $2,000, I'll do 100 push-ups in 100 seconds. If together we exceed $2,000 dollars, I will face one of my biggest fears and hold a tarantula in my hand for two minutes straight. The tarantula may go where it pleases. I'm doing this because I know the impact pediatric cancer has on families all over the globe. But I can't do it alone! Please donate whatever you can: anything is appreciated!
