I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

As you can see, I've had long hair, short hair, black hair, blonde hair, pink hair and pretty much everything in between. So, although shaving my head to bring awareness may sound courageous, it pales in comparison to what a child with cancer lives through every day.

My daughter, Wren, is my sun, stars and moon and I absolutely cannot imagine the helplessness a parent of a child with cancer must feel. It is my hope that someday soon no family suffers from the havoc that cancer wreaks in so many families.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
