I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Peachy Keens

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Peachy Keens

Howdy, y’all! This summer, I'll be joining the 46 Mommas for my eighth shave in support of childhood cancer research, and I’m thrilled to say we’re gonna boogie back to TEXAS! We hit our first million in 2013 in San Antonio, and we'll hit our second in AUSTIN – on my birthday, no less! It’ll be a party, for sure, and I can’t imagine a better way to spend the day or better folks to spend it with.

Standing with fellow Mommas, all touched by childhood cancer, and all determined to help fund cures and safer, less-toxic treatments for our children, is my honor and my privilege, and I am inspired by their courage and dedication every day. The best part of this year’s event is I’ll be shaving in honor of Georgia’s FIFTH year off treatment and her Official Cancer-Freedom! We’ve looked forward to April 29, 2017 for over seven years, and I am just as passionate about my mission now as I was on December 31, 2009 - the day Georgia was diagnosed and the world changed forever.

Please visit the Georgia and the Peachy Keens Hero Fund and Georgia's blog to keep up with our busy girl and to see how you can help us end childhood cancer. For her, and for the 46 kids diagnosed every weekday, I will continue to raise awareness, hope, and funds for childhood cancer research, and I hope you'll join me. Much love and gratitude, Courtney
