I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Jackie

Hello there, my name is Esia! My sister Jackie was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 1998 and later passed away in 2000. In her memory, I've donated my hair to Wigs for Kids- this year I intend to go a bit further. My goal is to raise $5,000 for childhood cancer research. I will be donating my hair to Locks of Love and then proceed to shave my head in April at Georgetown University, the same hospital she was treated at. Children with cancer don't get to choose whether or not they keep their hair- I am hoping to gain humility from this experience by letting go of something that makes so many feel secure. Please donate or become a shavee for my team! I will be sending out personal thank you letters at the end of this event for anyone who contributes. Thank you very much for your time and have a great 2017!
