I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: UT Austin Nursing Students

For my 21st, I thought long and hard about what I would do to make this year the most unforgettable year yet. Not only did I want to do something bold and memorable, but rather something that would make a significant impact on the community.

Therefore, I am happy to announce that I will be participating in St. Baldrick's Foundation's Brave the Shave Event on April 15, where I will be shaving my head in solidarity to raise money for childhood cancer research! Roughly 300 thousand children worldwide are diagnosed with cancer each year. As a result of treatment, most children end up losing their hair. This illness is something out of their control, and these children deserve to live long and healthy lives! So instead of asking for gifts for my 21st birthday, I'd like to ask for donations for this great cause. These children are the brave and courageous ones, I'm merely here to support them. Any small donation can make a difference for a child, so please give!
