I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: UT Austin Nursing Students

They are stronger than us all & they deserve the best we can give them. They are brave for never giving up, for continuing to push on, for finding happiness when others are gloom. Pediatric cancer needs to end.  Next spring (2017) I will be shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research. As a nursing student, many nights I go to bed thinking about the patients whom I met. Why them? What could I have done better? How are they doing now? In so many ways, I am reminded that I serve my patients to the best of my ability because I know that they are the ones who are fighting. I am just merely there to support them- they are the brave ones; I am honored to be a small part of their journey to recovery. I hope to celebrate the bravery and courage of the smallest patients who continue to fight on.  Childhood cancer is underfunded. Although, I am just a college student. I hope to do my best for these children. Each donation is one step closer to a better treatment and even a cure. I believe we will get there, will you help us? Every dollar counts & they count on us!
