I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Treehouse

The rain and the shower have been the best sensations of the day :) Thank so much for your support! We made the front page of the local paper: http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/health/20161028/ucsc-goes-bald-to-back-childhood-cancer-research Teresa Why this matters to me: As part of a team of cancer genomics researchers at UC Santa Cruz, we research childhood cancer. The good part of childhood cancer is that it is rare. Being rare, not much research has gone into it resulting in not much data available. Some amazing people I work with have convinced research institutions around the world to join a consortium to share data so we all have a larger pool of data from which to draw. Teresa

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
