I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Eighteen

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to my team page! I found this amazing organization through a promise I made as a freshman! With my friends, I told them that if I did not meet Ellen Degeneres by the time I turned 18, I would shave my head. On December 2, 2016, I turned eighteen... and did not meet Ellen. This event means so much more than the promise I made to my friends. As I started to get serious about shaving my hair, I wanted to find a cause to donate towards. Through my research I stumbled on St. Baldrick's! I am so excited that I found this incredible foundation. As someone, who has lost a couple family members to this awful disease, I cannot be more grateful that there is a foundation so motivated to research funds for cancer! I have learned so much through this experience and all of that can be applied to my life as adult. Please take the time to donate towards my page. I personally have a goal of $100, but the event I am participating in has a goal of $100,000! Every little bit counts and is greatly appreciated :)
