I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sluggadocius

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sluggadocius

Cancer, unfortunately, has a history with my mother's side of the family and it is responsible for taking my grandmother away when I was only 11. Since then, I have continuously participated in Relay For Life walks, hoping that with the money raised we can be one step closer to finding a cure. However, while our goal is to eradicate cancer from everyone, cancer in children seems to be looked at in a different light. These young souls have just begun to develop and their health is already in jeopardy. Our attention and resources need to be equally distributed between adults and children. I'm shaving my head to bring awareness to the general public about the hardships these children and their families had to go through and currently are enduring. My contribution may not be the part that ends cancer for good, but it's a good stepping stone and I hope you will join me in laying another one on our path to a cancer-free world.
