I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello, my name is Quynn Gillan!! I am 15 years old, and an advocate for Childhood Cancer Awareness. I am a sophomore at Lake Nona High School in Orlando, Florida. I’ve wanted to shave my head for over two years now, and my parents have given me their blessing. The reason I have chosen to raise money for St. Baldrick’s is because they just recently played a key role in an FDA approved Childhood Cancer drug by filling the funding gap. Dinutuximab's  is the first pediatric cancer drug approved by the FDA in the last 30 years.  I am shaving my head to support this wonderful foundation, to be a voice and fight back against Childhood Cancer. I am shaving my head in honor of Talia Castellano, Trevor Schreer, Natasha Gould, Marlie Dodson, Noah Larkin, Princeton Bryan, and Maesen Weber. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! I have lost too many friends to this monster. Help the kids and support Childhood Cancer! Please help me reach my goal of 10,000 dollars and help these amazing children who go through so much at such young ages.
