I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Zac

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Zac

In 2009, our son Zac was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood bone Cancer called Osteosarcoma. Zac was treated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn and thanks to the wonderful, talented staff and to Zac's determination to this day he remains Cancer free. Zac endured 6 months of chemotherapy, an extensive surgery to remove the tumor in his right leg, and another 6 months of chemotherapy. After seeing Zac go through the treatment, and experiencing the process as a family member, I decided to do something to help avoid other families and kids having to experience this painful process. So, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!  Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
