I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I currently have a couple of adult friends who are dealing with two different types of cancer. One with breast cancer the other with rectal cancer. Watching them struggle with decisions and the ramifications of each type of cancer has been both inspiring and distressing to watch. However, I cant help of thinking how excruciating it would be to watch your own child suffer and not be able to make everything alright. I have never had children but have had the fortunate chance of having children touch my life and I would never want any of them to suffer, period. So, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research and in solidarity to my friends dealing with it currently. Kids' cancers are different from adult cancers. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Now I'm asking for your help. Will you please make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference...
