I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CCOM Goes Bald

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CCOM Goes Bald

Dear family, friends and colleagues,

The 1st anniversary of my mother's passing came earlier this month. She lived with late-stage Ovarian Peritoneal Cancer for about 15 months. Her strength, courage and positive outlook throughout her fight were inspirational. I'm shaving my head for the 3rd year in a row to raise money for childhood cancer research and to support cancer research overall!  Shaving my head is just a small symbolic gesture that I can make to support cancer research and awareness.

Please consider making a donation in support of the St. Baldrick's Foundation and my soon-to-be shiny new dome. Every dollar counts! Your support helped me raise just over $1700 last year. I'm getting a late start this year, but I'm still setting a goal of raising $1750 by this year's shaving event on March 8, 2016. Last March Midwestern University students and faculty raised more than $75,000 for the St. Baldrick's Day Shaving event, and we hope to exceed that goal by this year's event.

Thank you in advance for your support of this great cause!

Best wishes, Bryan
