I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded with only 4% of money raised going towards it specifically. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! I will gladly shave my head for this kick ass cause, if you guys will visit my page and make a donation! For the past 2 years I have sported my bald head with the confidence and pride that come from knowing I helped. Life can be crazy and unpredictable at times. You never know what tomorrow will bring, so utilize this opportunity to make a difference, and be part of the solution. Every donation made regardless of how big, or how small it is makes such a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. When you step back and look at how much St. Baldricks has not only achieved, but made possible it is simply awe inspiring. With more than $178 million donated, 359 facilities who's focus is just childrens cancer research, 923 grants awarded, open communication between the top researchers in 26 different countries, all of the time that is freely donated, the love, tears, and accomplishments shared, the understanding and compassion that only another parent who has been through it before can give, and a phenomenal support system for the good, bad, and the ugly that is available to all of the children, their families, and their friends that can now be utilized because they've been brought together are just a few things St. Baldricks has accomplished since they started in 2005 making it one charity that I am glad to donate to time and time again.
