I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Rally for Ryan & Natalie

The Grissom boys are shaving their heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Toby's boss's son, Rydyr, is 10 and was recently diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The boys immediately wanted to do something to help their friend, as did Toby and I. Rydyr is a wonderful boy, and his family is absolutely amazing. Rydyr is the second friend we know fighting this cancer right now (shout out to Matt Singleton, age 2, who is fighting ALL now, Keira Posada, age 5, who won her battle against Leukemia, and Andrew Weaver, age 1, who has recently won his battle against neuroblastoma. And those friends I know who have children that have fought bravely and didn’t get the chance to grow up, like Lilly Valentine).

Toby and I know all too well how devastating cancer is (losing my mom, his dad, and countless aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends), and our hearts break watching children fighting this disease.

Toby and I know how underfunded childhood cancer research is! We have done our research. Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
