I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Camp Texas for the Cure

Dear friends and family,

If you see me at some point after April 12, you'll notice that I've shaved my head. This post is to let you know that, no, I have not become a Trump supporter; I am doing this to raise awareness and funds to help fight childhood cancer. This is an issue that struck very close to home in the past few weeks, with the death of a friend's sibling. Childhood cancers are vastly understudied, very different from adult cancers, and just as terrible.
This is not for me. This is for the kids, for Aunt Sohnya, for Mikaela, for Hayden, for Dwight, for Julie. The link to donate is posted below. The money raised goes directly to the local St. Baldrick's here in Austin, but if you know another charity that you'd like to donate to, do so. Even if you don't donate, thank you for taking the time to read about this issue. Finding and researching cures for all the various types of childhood cancers is going to take a lot of time. Let's start now.
