I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 6th Grade Team

I am donating my hair to help fund for cancer treatment and research. I am cutting 8 inches of my hair off for children with cancer. I know, and have known many people with cancer, some have won, and some have lost their battle. All the money donated under my name will help those that are struggling with cancer. Even if you beat cancer, there is a great chance that it will come back or you will have a medical defect. Chemotherapy sometimes is the only option. It takes away a lot of the bad stuff but it kills the good things in your body too, like white blood cells, which helps fight off diseases. Once you take the medicine your hair starts to fall out, every last strand. That's not a sight any girl or boy ever wants to see in the mirror. By donating your hair and money you can help those kids get wigs to cover their heads. Thank you for supporting my cause.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
